Following a series of complex and successful projects for our long-term collaborative partner Ramsay Health Care, Erilyan was engaged to deliver a new build extension to their existing Westmead Private Hospital.
Delivered in an active healthcare environment, business continuity was of paramount importance. The extension comprised two additional operating theatres, two upgraded cardiac catheter laboratories, 13 consulting suites, 28 additional beds, an upgraded patient drop-off area and carpark. Infrastructure upgrades were completed for the central plant including new cooling towers, a chilled and hot water plant, substation and MSSB upgrades. Work was carried out amongst operational and logistical challenges including working over and around sensitive waterways and ongoing management of the operating loading dock.
